Business Network Intīl is a business and professional networking organization whose primary purpose is to exchange qualified business referrals. BNI operates on the "givers gain" philosophy; those who give business freely to others will benefit, and in return, will get business as well.
BNI is the largest networking organization of its kind. Currently, BNI has over 5,000 chapters in operation in the United States and thirty-six other countries. Members of Business Network Intīl have passed over 3,000,000 referrals which generated over $7 billion dollars of new business for its members. This method of word of mouth recommendation has proven to be more powerful than most sales, marketing and advertising activities combined.
BNI established its first chapter in Houston in January 1993 and currently has over 39 dynamic and active chapters in the area. Individual chapter meeting locations and membership lists are linked to this page.
What makes BNI unique is that we only allow one person per profession to join a chapter. Thus, once you have joined, NONE of your competitors can participate.
Visitors are invited to attend a business meeting of any of the local chapters. Meeting fees vary with the meeting locations. Visitors are asked to bring plenty of business cards to distribute. They can look forward to being introduced to numerous other business professionals in the group.
